PP

Polypropylene

Characteristics：PP is good at resisting heat、oil and acid. It can be burned like paper or wood， producing low heat and no toxic gases. It can also be recycled. Its heat-resistance temperature is between 110 and 130 degrees centigrade.

Applications：PP is widely used in the various fields, like in food 、medicine、electronic packaging etc. With the attribute of high heat-resistance，it is suitable for the sterilization process under high temperature.

Tips for usage：PP products can be used in the microwave, but not in the oven.

PET

Polyethylene terephthalate

Characteristics：PET is the material which has the advantages of good transparency、good oil resistance、good gas barrier property、high strength and good impact resistance. It's easy to be burned and its heat-resistance temperature is 60 degrees centigrade.

Applications：PET is widely used in various fields, like  food 、cosmetic 、electronic、toy packaging etc.

Tips for usage：It can’t be used in the microwave or oven.

PLA

Polylactic acid

Characteristics：PLA has the advantages of good transparency and good glossiness. But it also has the disadvantages of too brittle and low heat-resistance. Its heat-resistance temperature is 54 degrees centigrade.

Applications：PLA can be widely used in the fields of food packaging、snack boxes、non-woven fabrics、medical and agricultural film from industry to civil usage.

Tips for usage：It can’t be used in the microwave and oven.

PS

Polystyrene

Characteristics：PS’s heat-resistance temperature is 90 degrees centigrade and it's easy to be formed.

Applications：PS is mainly used in the fields of electronic、cosmetic packaging etc.

Tips for usage：It can’t be used in the microwave and oven. Please don’t use it for alcoholic beverages、oily and hot foods、juices such as Lime or stewed food, which can make the PS material changed and become fragile.

BOPS

Bi- stretch polystyrene

Characteristics：BOPS has the characteristics of good transparency、low density and good rigidity. Its heat-resistance temperature is 80 degrees centigrade.

Applications：BOPS  is widely used in the fields of food and medicine packaging as well as container lids.

Tips for usage：It can’t be used in the microwave and oven. Please don’t use it for alcoholic beverages、oily and hot foods、juices such as Lime or stewed food, which can make the PS material changed and become fragile.
